Sigur Ros

Not a new band by any means, but this song reminds me of someone special. Please check out my previous post as well!

IDEX Fellowship | Start Some Good

Hello everyone! More music is on the way. I have been busy preparing for finals and getting ready for graduation. Speaking of graduation, I am headed to India in July to participate in a fellowship where I will act as a consultant to schools in extremely low income areas. Please make this possible for me and the other participants by making a donation! Your help would be greatly appreciated!

Helios (Again)

I apologize for the delay in updates! I have recently been very busy with school and trying to figure out my life post-graduation. I have featured Helios on the blog before, but I can't help but post this song. The build up is amazing. Hands down, one of my favorite artists.

La Biblioteca Deserta

I discovered this band about a year ago when I was studying in Barcelona, and forgot about them until I came across them in my itunes again the other day. The five composers from Italy continue to inspire their small group of followers.

Björn Olsson

I can't stop listening to this song. There's just something so special about it that I cannot describe, so I won't even try.

Anoice

Anoice is a six-piece piano based instrumental group from Tokyo. They use an awesome assortment of instruments ranging from the viola to the tenor saxophone. This song slowly picks up and almost reminds me of a classical piece. A cleaner non-live version of this song can be found here: Liange

God Is An Astronaut

I know that God Is An Astronaut will not be a new band for most, but I was inspired to post this song when I woke up in the middle of the night and this song was playing on my computer (I have a bad/good habit of listening to music when I sleep). Simply one of the best post rock outfits to ever exist, I would kill to see them live. I encourage you to dive deep into this group's records. All of them are unique and push the band's creativity to the next level.
